Farish Daniyal - Journey to 4 Months

 

Alhamdulillah, on 12th July 2013, 17:17 we have received a perfect little boy. Welcome my little caliph. Although Kakak was not so happy receiving a baby boy but I'm pretty sure that she's proud when most people said he has her looks. 

 

From the sign of having birth, he is giving me a totally new experience. Not like the past two delivery, Daniyal was born 1 week early than expected. I knew that he is struggling latching during 1-2 days after birth and only on 3rd day onwards you have a full stomach.

 

On day 4, he was detected having a jaundice and was admitted in An-Nur Specialist Hospital. Since there is no available bed for lodging, I have to travel back and forth to feed him and leave the EBM for over night use. Yeah, two exhausted days..but I'll do everything it takes to give the best for my baby. I have no words to say while looking at him under treatment and I couldn't stop my tears to drop every time feeding him in the nursery. I pray that he would not suffering this any longer.



 

Day 7, skin head mode! We shaved his hair on day 7 even though we are not able to carry along his aqiqah ceremony.

 

On the first month my hero gain 2kg from his birth weight (4.42kg) and draw an over graph dot on his growing chart..yeah that's a secret of exclusive breastfeeding! ;)

He is still sleeping most of the time at this age..

 

 

His weight reached 6.2kg on 2nd month and still made a little weep during immunization jab. He started to sleep on his chest and sometimes comfort land in my arms next to my heart. His hair growing fast anyway..

 

 

I'm surprised he is gaining quite a lot month by month since do not drink as much as his brother did and not as often as his sister was. On 3rd month he gain another kg to plot the dot at 7.6kg.

 

I'm happy to see a smile on his face now and love to talk to him so much.

He is a gift..syukur Alhamdulillah, he motivate me a lot to have another baby..not much hassle in nursing him. Bath time, bedtime, play time, outing..he behave all the time. Baby cot, MAXI COSI and may be a play gym really a worth catch. Pray hard that he will grow well and become a good caliph to his religious, family & people surround him.
